Rhea

Habitat: Pampus and sparse woodlands of Argentina and Brazil. Rhea are the largest South American birds (about 4ft tall) and are related to the ostriches and emus. The males incubate the eggs for 6 weeks and cares for the newly hatched young. They eat plants, fruits, and seeds, as well as insects, lizards, birds, and other small game.
